- January 9 · Release 2.2.0. A major milestone with a bunch of new features and extensions, focused on corner cases and resilient handling. Release Notes
2020¶
- June 13 · Release 2.1.0. A large effort revisiting the whole code to reach carrier grade quality. This release also moved the project to a Release Notes process. Release Notes
- January 22 · Release 2.0.20. A very stable release after strong debugging iterations during the year.
2019¶
- July 26. Keepalived is now referenced by the Technical Reference Model of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
- May 26. Created the Keepalived account on X for release announcements and updates.
- May 24. Created the Keepalived Users Group at Groups.io, which replaces the old SourceForge mailing lists.
- May 16. A new logo for Keepalived.
Earlier milestones¶
- 2018-05-26 · Release 2.0.0. A major release after about two years of hard work, with many components reworked for high performance.
- 2012-07-12. Created the Keepalived GitHub repository, which became the official master git repository.
- 2011-11-23. Alexandre Simon presented Keepalived at JRES 2011, with a paper and slides.
- 2000-12-22 · Release 0.2.1. The first public release.
